TR HELL – Ghost – Cirice

I love it when you call me Kid Papa.

TR Hell is a staff video pick from the black depths of the abyss itself.

The hype train keeps a’ rollin’. Ghost’s Meliora might be my most anticipated piece of pop culture this year. More than Arkham Knight, more than Star Wars. Hell, probably even more than next year’s Street Fighter V, though that has more to do with Capcom (AKA the sorry state of the Japanese games industry) forcing me to buy a PS4 to play it. Yes I’m well aware of the fact that this makes me kind of an asshole. Moving on…

Following the slow reveals of new tracks, artwork, uniforms and “personnel” detailed in our previous Ghost article, Papa Emeritus III and The Nameless Ghouls have now released a video for what many predicted would be the upcoming record’s first single, Cirice.

Ghost B.C. Because… Children?

Of course Ghost aren’t the first ones to pull the “dress little kids up like the band” gimmick…

“I got my penciiiiiiiiil…”

…but you can always count on them to blend their film and horror homages in clever ways, giving us something here that’s like Carrie if it took place in an Elementary School and was directed by Dario Argento.

All the cool kids (or maybe just me and my friend Steve) know that Ghost’s Meliora comes out on August 21st via Loma Vista Recordings.
