Life finds a way this week with the original 1993 Spielberg classic Jurassic Park at the Troc’s Movie Monday. As always, the event is 21 and over, doors are at 6 6:30 and the show starts at 8. $3 gets you in and goes toward a drink or snack!
Helium Comedy Club Presents: Sidekicks. From their site “Helium Comedy Club Philadelphia’s latest game show, Sidekicks, pairs together 3 local comics with 3 audience members to compete in a series of ridiculous trivia games! Audience participation is key in this show, as your laughter can add big points to the scores of the hilarious twosomes. Best of all, the audience member on the winning team takes away the Ultimate Prize of $200, straight from the comedians’ pockets!” This show is 21+ (18+ with parent). Tickets will be available for pick up at the box office prior to the show (they are generally available 1.5-2 hours prior to show time.)
“Diamond” David Lee Roth returns to the Philly area with Van Halen at the Susquehanna Bank Center. Tickets are still available here.

The Mahoning Drive-In Theater in Lehighton PA.From their site: “Air out your tents and pack your sleeping bags for the biggest outdoor horror movie event of the year! On August 28th & 29th, Exhumed Films and the Mahoning Drive-In Theater present “Camp Blood”! Haul out your camping gear and join us as Jason Voorhees and his deranged brethren stalk-and-slash their way across the giant Mahoning theater screen in six killer camping horror classics! Last but certainly not least, Blacklist Burlesque Presents Burlesque Is Coming at the Trocadero. This 21 and over (obviously) event is the only Game of Thrones burlesque tribute show officially approved by Mr. George R. R. Martin himself! I’m assuming they don’t murder anyone, at least not for real, but hey, there’s only one way to find out. Valar morghulis! Tickets are available online for $12
