Movie Monday at the Troc is showing Mad Max, the original1979 oz-ploitation classic. As always the event is 21+ And $3 gets you in and goes towards a drink or snack!


Open Mic Extravaganza at Helium Comedy Club. This show is 21+ (18+ with parent). Tickets will be available for pick up at the box office prior to the show (they are generally available 1.5-2 hrs prior to showtime.)  Tickets are $5 for GA or $13 for reserved.


Social Distortion will play their self titled record in its entirety, supported by Lucero, Drag the River, Nikki Lane, and Benjamin Booker at Festival Pier. Tickets are still on sale for $47.


High on Fire with Pallbearer, Venomous Maximus, and Lucifer at the TLA. Tickets are $26.50


Pretty in Pink at the Roxy at 7:30pm.  Part of BYO Wine Night at the Roxy! Bring a bottle and pay a $2 Corkage Fee per person.


MergeArts: Fashion, Music and Art. Live at Coda on Thursday August 27th, 2015. 7:30 PM

From their site “You will experience 4 bands, 6 Fashion runways, 14 visual artists and 700 of the region’s creative class.  We open doors at 7:30pm; after that it’s rock-runway, rock, runway all the way to midnight.  Mix it up with the creative class after the show.   MergeArts is an organization that provides a consistent event platform and small business resource for artists. We accomplish this in two ways. Our monthly events are multi-genre; with 30+ artists bringing Art, Music and Fashion into a live show. We also produce a bimonthly series of workshops and seminars which are designed to educate our creative class as small business owners and connect them with their industry professionals.  IndieWorks launches in early fall 2015.” Tickets are available here.
