Riot Radio – Nine Inch Nails – The Downward Spiral (8-Bit)

“The me that you know is now made up of (more) wires…”

What if Trent Reznor’s career got started a decade earlier? And he transitioned into video game soundtracks instead of movies? Youtube User .NIN.2014 has the answer with a chiptine-ified take on NIN’s 1994 masterpiece “The Downward Spiral”. Favorite tracks include Mr. Self Destruct sounding straight out of Battletoads, March of the Pigs resembling the opening of Konami’s original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and I Do Not Want This bringing to mind some hellish lost Castlevania level. Give the whole thing a listen, we think you’ll enjoy it just as much as we did.
