Chasing after the glory of the classic N64 Aki wrestling games just like WWE is constantly nipping at the heels of the pop culture defining late 90’s “Attitude Era”, WWE 2K16 (Xbox One/Xbox360/PS4/PS3/PC, 59.99) makes no effort in hiding it’s nostalgia baiting, putting the legendary Stone Cold Steve Austin front and center in both the marketing and the game’s single player campaign, but it’ll take a lot more than the Rattlesnake on the cover to instill confidence in the fanbase, especially after the debacle that last year’s game was.

Underappreciated psychological thriller The Gift joins similarly derided Jake Gyllenhaal boxing drama Southpaw on shelves this week, alongside the highly anticipated Criterion edition of early aughts David Lynch mindfuck Mulholland Drive.



Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan’s hard rock side project Puscifer drops their third LP, Money Shot. Puscifer will here in Philly next month be at the newly opened Fillmore, keep an eye on our Facebook next week for a chance to win two tickets!
