Preview: I’m Not Okay: A Live Music and Burlesque Tribute to Emo at The Barbary 6/17

“So long and good night…”

In the proud tradition of our Steven Universe event in March we present this weekend’s biggest “hot topic” in Philly, a likeminded show celebrating everybody’s favorite early aughts sad goths and the music that powered the emo movement. Featuring expert production by James De La Vega, music by Your Favorite Weapon and Oliver Rose, and the burlesque talents of Ogre Achiever, Kyla Ren, Fae Tantra, Veronica Vicious, Areola Grande, Ron Binary, Lady Lazarus and Sinnamon!

Missed out on this SOLD OUT event? Don’t scream infidelities at us, we’ll be live streaming selected segments on Facebook, and check out our Emo and Pop Punk Sing Along on 7/29, also at The Barbary featuring local heroes Scene Points, and if your hair isn’t already everywhere, stick around for Tigerbeats Weekender dance party!
