Listen to Meg Myers’ new single “Sorry”

"Your tears they taste like Vinegar and Blood"

It’s no secret that I am infatuated with Meg Myers’ music, so I was pretty giddy when I saw that she had released the title track of her upcoming record Sorry. There are so few artists nowadays that have the ability to strike a chord and make you feel the need to consume everything they’ve ever released. I’ve had her EPs Daughter in the Choir and Make a Shadow on repeat for a while now. Fortunately, Myers is releasing her debut album later this year.

Myers has yet to disappoint. She has the angst of Fiona Apple crossed with a more modern electronic sound. Her voice is distinct and breathy and lends itself perfectly to the painful and angry lyrics she belts out. Check out her new song “Sorry” below. It is also available on ITunes now.
